INTRODUCTION:

                      moral development along with acceptance,internalisation.
MEANING OF MORAL DEVELOPMENT:
                      The process of receiving or giving systematic instruction,especially at a school or university.
DEFINITION OF MORAL DEVELOPMENT:
                            moral development is about extending pupils' knowledge and understanding of the range of accepted values in society.
APPROACHES OF MORAL DEVELOPMENT:                   

            A) PSYCHOANALYTICAL APPROACH:
                                                 There are three types they are
                                          1)ego
                                           2)super ego
                                          3)id
                EGO:
                       Make a compromise.

               SUPEREGO:
                      I wish i dont this right now.

              ID:
                      I wish i want to do.

          B) PIAGET'S APPROACH:
                                       There are 3 stages namely
                                        1)post-conventional stage
                                                   i)avoid punishment orientation
                                                   ii)self interest orientation
                                         2)conventional stage
                                                   iii)good boy and nice girl
                                                   iv)law and order orientation
                                         3)pre-conventional stage
                                                   v)social contract interest
                                                  vi)principle orientation
          C) KOHL BERG'S APPROACH:
                            1)Capacity for abstract thinking.
                            2)ability to empathise with feeling and perceptions of others.
                            3)decision making and problem solving approach.
                                   The six stages of kohl berg approaches are :

                                     i)punishment and obedience

                                    ii)instrumental and relative orientation

                                   iii)good boy and good

                                   iv)law and order orientation

                                    v)social contract

                                   vi)universal,ethical,principle orientation
